Part of our Nature Reserve is in the process of being converted into a so called holding depot by Denbighshire County Council, this commitment was never discussed with the Rhuddlan Environment Groups officers or committee, and has been made against the wishes of all members of the Rhuddlan Environment Group, who feel that apart from reneging on a positive promise to work in conjunction with REG in the creation and on going running of our Nature reserve, the Councils action is in fact tantamount to local government dictatorship. Given the current national situation, regarding Parliamentarians and civil servants dishonorable actions in many walks of life, it is surprising that our local government officers seem to be keen to join the, do as we say, not as we do club.
