Denbighshire County council have let us down again.
After working very hard on the Nature Reserve for many months the county have decided to throw a spanner in the works.
They have decide that they want the pump house end of the site as a holding depot for North Denbighshire. Blocking it off with a bund. Cutting off access. Try our gallery for photographs, it will be updated it again very soon.
Not quite as bad a recycling centre but even worse when you think the county think they are going to get away with reneging on a working contract of 25 years.
Our volunteers complain that they would never have lifted a finger if they thought for one minute that county would pull a stunt like this, trying once again to get away with things through the back door.
We will fight them and defeat them.
The highways manager Tim Towers reports he will go with what ever the LNR MAG agrees/votes for, WE The Rhuddlan Environment Group did not agree the working contract with this group and are taking legal advice.
