During the course of recent months,  the Rhuddlan Environment Group has been working hard to  raise funds for  the Ron and Margaret Smith Cancer Appeal at Glan Clwyd Cancer unit, Bodelwyddan.

The groups fundraising endeavors involved their attendance at three locally organized events and the help of some well known local business who donated prizes.

Their frog in the bog game inspired by Paul Hughes and built by Mervyn Roberts and Freddy Taylor was used to raise the funds.

The Rhuddlan Environment Group extend  their thanks to Salisbury's, Morrison's, Tesco, Asda, Mell Bonnet  local beautician, Barbara Borders Deborah Taylor, Spitz and Sequins dance group,  and the Prestatyn ATC Band. 

A cheque for  £450.00 was presented by Clr  Reg Davies Rhuddlan Town Mayor and received by Doris Roberts Deputy Chairman and Stevie Boyd Fund-raising & Publicity officer on behalf of the Cancer Unit the donation  will go towards patient equipment.
